DIN 1.4021 Stainless Steel Plate is a martensitic Stainless Steel that contains chromium and carbon. It is also known as X20Cr13 or AISI 420. This grade of stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, high hardness, and good wear resistance. It is commonly used in the manufacturing of knives, scissors, surgical instruments, and other cutting tools. The chemical composition of DIN 1.4021 stainless steel plate is as follows:
- Carbon (C): 0.16-0.25%
- Chromium (Cr): 12.0-14.0%
- Manganese (Mn): 1.0% max
- Phosphorus (P): 0.04% max
- Sulfur (S): 0.03% max
- Silicon (Si): 1.0% max
